What is Digital Project Management?
The Digital Project Management toolset supports organizations that require diversity and local subcontract planning and reporting as part of their Supplier Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives. The purpose of the Digital Project Management toolset is to make it possible to request project plans and reporting from multiple tiers of companies working on the same project, to report expenditures with their suppliers on that project.
Diversity Equity and Inclusion/Local Economic Impact
As this type of reporting is usually associated with initiatives to increase Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and/or local economic impact, the scope of reporting normally encompasses diverse companies or local businesses. The Digital Project Management tools are available to companies to request from their immediate suppliers, project diversity and inclusion plans and reporting of data about their expenditures with diverse or local suppliers. This information is then available to have a comprehensive view of the diverse and local spend related to the project, across multiple tiers.
Supporting Tools to Create Increased Inclusion
SupplierGATEWAY also provides additional tools to the subcontractors from whom plans are requested to:
- Report diverse spend on projects
- Identify prospective diverse suppliers
- Conduct online electronic bids and quotes, and,
- Facilitate Enhanced Digital Certifications for diverse subcontractors and vendors.
