Updating your Company Information
Keeping your company information up-to-date is crucial for maintaining a professional business presence. Accurate information ensures seamless communication and transactions, and it helps your company be properly represented in all interactions with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies. Regular updates to your company profile can prevent misunderstandings, avoid missed opportunities, and demonstrate your commitment to transparency and reliability.
For Non-Registered Users
If you received an invitation to register and noticed that your company name is misspelled or the address needs to be changed, you have two options:
- Notify Support:
Click the red tab to contact Support about the update. Once the change is made, proceed with registration using the same link. The information will automatically update.
- Continue with Registration:
Complete the registration process. After registering, log in and go to Settings > Update Organizational Profile to make any necessary updates.
For Registered Users
If you are registered, you can update your organizational profile by following these steps. Note that only administrative users can make these changes. If you are the first user, you are the Admin.
- Log In:
Access the SupplierGateway system and log in.
- Navigate to Update Profile:
Locate the menu options on the left side of the page. Scroll down to Manage > Settings > Update Organizational Profile. If you do not see this option, you are not identified as an Administrator and must request permission from the current Admin.
- Update Information:
Click on Update Organizational Profile. You will see all the information you provided during registration. Use the links at the top of the page to navigate to different profile sections. Remember to save your changes.
Profile Sections You Can Update
- Company: Update company demographic information, including address, email, and primary contact.
- Summary: Establish the diversity classification and capacity of the company.
- Revenue: Enter your annual revenue totals and asset value.
- Facilities: Describe your facilities and any special equipment.
- Product: Document your product list, including SKUs and pricing information.
- Attachment: Upload documents other than certifications, such as promotional materials or press kits.
- Certifications: Include diversity, transportation, sustainability, and quality certifications.
- Financials: Provide key financial information, including annual budget, payment information, and bonding levels.
- References: Add references for your company.
- Contacts: Enter key contact information for internal stakeholders, such as primary, tier 2, or billing contacts.
- Licenses: Cite professional, business, or contractor licenses.
- Ownership: List the company owners and their percentage of ownership.
- Bank: Provide banking information for payment deposits (excluding subscription payments for this platform).
- Insurance: Provide insurance information, such as General Liability, Workers Compensation, and Umbrella insurance. Required insurance is marked in red.
- Other: Answer questions regarding quality assurance and your company’s policies.
- Shipping: Describe your company’s transportation capabilities, including truck, rail, air, and other methods.
- Legacy Affidavits: Provide attestations the enterprise client requires from a specific time period.
- Addresses: Enter multiple addresses for your company, such as primary and billing addresses.
- Accounts Receivables: Represent the money owed to your organization by customers or clients for goods or services provided on credit.
- Declarations and Representations: Provide affidavits required or customized by the client.
- SG Declarations and Representations: Include affidavits from SupplierGateway, such as the SBA self-certification affidavit and 889 Representations.
- W9: Provide the official IRS form to collect the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) from independent contractors, freelancers, or other entities.
- FFATA: Include documentation related to the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) Subaward Reporting System (FSRS).
- Service: Define the range of your business (global, national, regional, or local).
- Business Identities: Provide VAT, TIN, or GST information.
