TIN/EIN Conflict: Why has my TaxID number been removed?

Your company's TIN/Name was invalid, and has been removed. 

Why?

Your Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Employer Identification (EIN) has been found to not match the name that you have provided, according to the IRS. This can happen for one of the following reason’s

1. The name provided is incorrect but the Tax ID is correct.
2. The TAX ID provided is incorrect but the name is correct.
3. Both TAX ID and Name are incorrect.

Please follow the instructions below to identify and correct the issue.

Login to the System

1. Login to https://sgw.suppliergateway.com
2. Click on the Basic Supplier Package App in the Active Apps tray
3. Click on Update Organizational Profile from the navigation menu on the left.

To check/correct the company name

1. Click on the Company link from the selection of tabs
2. Review /Update the Company Name in the profile
3. Click Update

To update the TIN

1. Click on the Summary link from the selection of tabs
2. Update the EIN
3. Click Submit
