Guide to Submitting Tier 2 Project Reporting
As a Prime supplier, you must report Tier 2 expenditures by project in your customers SupplierGateway portal. You will receive notification via email that you have been set as required to report to your customer. If you have any specific questions about a project you are reporting for, please connect with your customer directly for clarification.
What Is Tier 2 Project Reporting?
Tier 2 reporting captures the spend your company’s suppliers (Tier 1) make with their own diverse suppliers. This helps measure the broader impact on diverse businesses.
How to Submit Reports
1. Log In: Access the “Submit Tier 2 Project Reports” application.
2. Choose a Reporting Method:

By Category: Enter spend by diverse classification (indirect) or individual supplier (direct).

By Upload: Use the Excel template to upload multiple entries.
Reporting by Category
Diverse Business Classification: Use one of the following methods: enter total sales for auto-calculation, input % revenue allocated to Tier 2, or manually enter spend by classification (e.g., Women-Owned). Use icons to ➕ add entries, ✏️ edit, and 🗑️ delete.
Individual Supplier: Click ➕ to add a supplier to report against. Enter details manually or select from existing records. Provide a supplier number or let the system generate one. Spend is tied to this number.
Reporting via Excel Upload
Download the Excel template, complete supplier name, demographics, flags, and spend. Rename the file and upload it.
Key Tips & Troubleshooting
Enter $0 if you have no Tier 2 spend.
⚠️ If the spend box is grayed out with an alert, the supplier may not meet client criteria (e.g., not diverse), have expired certification, or an incomplete profile. Click the ⚠️ icon for details on missing criteria.
Use the "people" icon to edit supplier demographics.
Use ✏️ to edit entries
To un-submit a report, contact your client directly.
