How to - Tier 2 Project Proxy Report
Why use Project Reporting Proxy?
If a supplier isn’t registered or able to report directly, Project Reporting Proxy allows you to submit spend on their behalf to ensure accurate and complete reporting for your projects.
Begin by navigating to Tier 2 Project Reporting app and selecting Project Reporting Dashboard.
From the Project Reporting Tools menu, select Project Reporting Proxy.
Note: Only users with the appropriate permission can submit proxy reports. If you need access, an Admin user can grant this permission.
Search for the supplier you wish to Proxy Report on behalf of by name or supplier number, then click Start Proxy to begin reporting.
Note: The supplier must be uploaded into your portal in order to appear in search results and be eligible for proxy reporting.
First, add all diverse suppliers that have been worked with in order to make spend entries.
Start by searching the SupplierGateway database for the supplier. If the profile appears after clicking Search, review the details to confirm it’s the correct company, then click the + icon to add them.
If the supplier does not appear, select Manually Add Supplier and enter the company’s information.
After adding all relevant suppliers, choose a Supplier Number and the appropriate Project Cost Center (also known as the Project), then enter the spend amounts. Click the + icon to save your spend entry.
Your spend entries will appear in the console, where you can review, edit, confirm, or delete them as needed to make any revisions.
As spend is reported, this will be captured on your end as a 'submitted report' by the supplier immediately.
Note: If you need to report against additional time periods, select the other periods from 'Select Reporting Period' drop down menu and proceed to enter the spend accordingly.
