Why do you need to upload suppliers/enrich data?

Uploading suppliers into the system is typically one of the first things you will do after activating your system.  The supplier data you load makes it easier for you to complete tasks and activities in the system relating to your suppliers.  Enriching your suppliers while loading them in the system may also provide some details on your supplier list you did not already have.

What does the system do with the data?

There are many uses for the supplier data you upload.  For example:

• View compliance and risk profiles for each company
• Identify the diversity of your supplier base for Diversity & Inclusion reporting. 
• Issue  purchase orders, 
• Engage suppliers to update their profile information
• Pay suppliers using the virtual payment tools
• Collect diversity reports from your suppliers
• And much more…

How do you do this?

There’s a detailed step by step explanation a bit later on, but basically you (1) Download an Excel template, (2) Fill it out, (3) Upload, (4) Enrich Data, and (5) Review Results.

How long does it take to process?

Once you upload the template, the time to process depends on the number of suppliers in your list.  We recommend you plan for about 4-8 hours after your upload is submitted although the upload may be completed in a much shorter time.  In any case, the system will send you an email alert when the upload is complete. 

After the upload completes, you will request the data file to be generated. This process will take around and additional 1-2 hours to complete. At this time, you may also request for your suppliers to be engaged to register on your platform to provide additional details on their organization. This step is an ongoing process so suppliers may complete registration at any point. 

Can supplier uploads/data enrichment be automated?
