Current Supplier Registration vs. Potential Supplier Registration
Current Suppliers are vendors who are already doing business with an enterprise portal client while Potential Suppliers are seeking to initiate business with an enterprise portal client. If you are a Current Supplier, you will receive a unique link from the portal client that you either have current or past business with. The objective of having you complete the registration application segments is to ensure that all your company's information is up-to date.This registration should be a few application segments that you will be prompted to answer and submit after receiving your unique supplier invitation email.
Potential Supplier registration is executed directly from the client's portal site. Please reference their companyname.suppliergateway.com. Here you can click the Supplier Registration link which will prompt you to complete application segments. These questions were chosen by the portal client so that they could learn specific information about your business as it relates to their program. As a potential supplier, once you hit CLICK TO COMPLETE for all segments, you will submit your application and be added as a Potential Supplier to that enterprise client. As a Potential Supplier, the client will review this list and reach out to you directly if your good or services match their immediate needs.
