Understanding Tier 2 Spend Dashboard

Tier 2 refers to second-tier spend reports that your identified Prime Suppliers (vendors required to report) submit directly to your organization to report their supplier diversity spend. The Tier 2 Spend Dashboard provides tools and visualizations to help you review reporting compliance, analyze diversity spend, and measure supplier performance.

Prime Reporting Compliance

The Prime Reporting Compliance section provides an overview of your Prime Supplier reporting activity for the currently open reporting period.

This section displays:

• Open reporting period
• Prime Supplier reporting count
• Manage Reporting Primes option
• Prime Supplier reporting statistics

If your organization has applied Supplier Classifications, the Supplier Classification filter is also available to further refine the dashboard results.

Use the Filters option to display data for a specific reporting period.

Available filters include:

• Year
• Reporting Period (for example, Quarter 1, 2024)

You can also select which demographic categories to include in the dashboard, allowing you to focus on the data most relevant to your reporting needs.

The Tier 2 Tools drop-down menu provides access to tools used to manage your Tier 2 reporting.

Available functions include:

• Set up and manage Prime Suppliers
• Generate data reports
• Download Tier 2 Dashboard visualizations

Diversity Return on Investment (DROI)

Diversity Return on Investment (DROI) displays spend totals and percentages based on the diversity credit submitted by your Prime Suppliers for each diversity category.

DROI provides recognition based on a proportional amount of spend by answering the following question:

For every $1 spent with a Prime Supplier, how many dollars in diversity spend does that supplier return as diversity credit?

Note

Tier 1 spend data must be uploaded to your SupplierGATEWAY portal for your Prime Suppliers, as this information is required to support the DROI calculations.

The dashboard displays the Top 5 Prime Suppliers for each diversity category.

For each supplier, the dashboard displays:

• Submitted Tier 2 spend
• DROI percentage, when applicable
