Review Tier 2 Reports
Overview
Reviewing Tier 2 Reports in SupplierGATEWAY allows internal users to evaluate indirect spend data submitted by Tier 1 suppliers. Tier 2 Reports provide insight into extended supplier engagement, support supplier diversity initiatives, and fulfill contractual or regulatory reporting requirements.
This article explains how internal users access, review, and validate Tier 2 Reports within SupplierGATEWAY.
Prerequisites
Before reviewing Tier 2 Reports, the following conditions must be met:
The user has access to the Tier 2 or Reporting application.
The user has permission to review Tier 2 Reports.
One or more Tier 2 Reports have been submitted by suppliers.
The reporting period is open or in review status.
Access Tier 2 Reports
Log in to SupplierGATEWAY.
From the main menu, select the Tier 2 or Reporting application.
Navigate to Tier 2 Reports, Tier 2 Dashboard, or Report Review.
The system displays a list of submitted Tier 2 Reports.
Review Tier 2 Report Details
Step 1: Open a Tier 2 Report
Select a Tier 2 Report from the list.
Review the report status and submission details.
The report workspace displays submitted Tier 2 supplier and spend data.
Step 2: Analyze Tier 2 Spend Data
Review total Tier 2 spend.
Review spend by:
Tier 1 supplier
Tier 2 supplier
Classification or demographic
Validate reported amounts and classifications.
Summary and detailed views support analysis.
Step 3: Validate Supplier Information
Confirm Tier 2 supplier details are complete.
Verify classifications or certifications.
Identify missing or inconsistent data.
Validation indicators highlight potential issues.
Approve or Unsubmit the Tier 2 Report
If the report meets requirements, leave as is.
If the report does not, unsubmit the report.
Confirm the action.
The report status updates to Accepted or Approved.
Monitor Reporting Status
After review, users can:
Track submission and acceptance status.
Monitor supplier compliance with reporting requirements.
Generate summary metrics for reporting.
Outcome
Once Tier 2 Reports are reviewed:
Indirect spend data is validated and accepted.
Tier 2 results are available for dashboards and reporting.
Supplier compliance is documented.
Reporting requirements are satisfied.
