Sourcing: How to search for Suppliers

Search for Suppliers

SupplierGateway offers two ways to search for suppliers. Choose the option that best fits your needs.

Option 1: Search Bar & Advanced Search

Use the Search Bar on the homepage to perform a keyword search. Enter one or more search terms and click Search.

Note: Keyword searches return a broad list of suppliers whose profiles contain the entered term in their company name, products and services, or capabilities statement.

For more targeted results, click Advanced Search to filter suppliers by:

• Certifications
• Ownership Type
• Location and Service Areas

• Registered Potential Suppliers or Current Suppliers

  

Option 2: AI Search Assistant

The AI Search Assistant allows you to search using natural language instead of selecting filters manually.

Enter a detailed description of the suppliers you're looking for and click Search.

Example searches:

• Small cybersecurity businesses in North Carolina
• Women-owned marketing agencies with federal contracting experience

The AI Search Assistant interprets your request and returns supplier profiles that best match your search criteria.

Review and Manage Search Results

Regardless of which search method you use, your results will appear in a scrollable list. From there, you can:

• View supplier profiles
• Download supplier profiles
• Mark suppliers as Favorites or add them to a saved list
• Share selected suppliers with your team

• Review supplier certification details
